1. Place your scale on a flat surface. A hard surface is best for maximum accuracy. Placing the scale on a soft, deep pile rug may affect the weight accuracy.
2. Locate the zero adjustment control at the foot of the scale and turn it to the left or right until the weight indicator points to zero.
3. Step on the scale and position your feet in a manner that will distribute your weight evenly over the entire scale platform. Stand still while reading the display.

Care: Periodically wipe scale surface down with a dry cloth to remove dust.
